The animal had been unaccounted for after severe flooding over the weekend destroyed the city zoo, allowing hundreds of wild animals to escape.
The attack happened at a warehouse in the city center. There are no details yet on the condition of the second man.
The zoo lost about half of its 600 animals, among them lions, tigers, bears and wolves, in the disaster. Some animals have been recaptured, Civil Georgia reported. Others have been killed.
