Position: IT Personnel
Job Details
Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
Perform routine network start up and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.

Supreme court just ruled to legalize same-sex marriage in America. President of US President Obama just tweeted same on his personal tweeter account.

CNN report - In a landmark opinion, the Supreme Court ruled Friday that states cannot ban same-sex marriage, handing gay rights advocates their biggest victory yet.

The 5-4 ruling had Justice Anthony Kennedy writing for the majority with the four liberal justices. Each of the four conservative justices wrote their own dissent.

"No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice and family," Kennedy wrote. "In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than they once were."

In a dissent, Justice Antonin Scalia blasted the Court's "threat to American democracy."

"The substance of today's decree is not of immense personal importance to me," he wrote. "But what really astounds is the hubris reflected in today's judicial Putsch."

The relevant cases were argued earlier this year. Attorney John Bursch, serving as Michigan's Special Assistant Attorney General, defended four states' bans on gay marriage before the Court, arguing that the case was not about how to define marriage, but rather about who gets to decide the question.
The case comes before the Supreme Court after several lower courts have overturned state bans on gay marriage. A federal appeals court had previously ruled in favor of the state bans, with Judge Jeffrey Sutton of the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals writing a majority opinion in line with the rationale that the issue should be decided through the political process, not the courts.
Fourteen couples and two widowers challenged the bans. Attorneys Mary Bonauto and Doug Hallward-Driemeier presented their case before the Court, arguing that the freedom to marry is a fundamental right for all people and should not be left to popular vote.

James Horner composer of Titanic, Brave heart feared dead from aircrash

Academy Award-winning composer James Horner, is feared dead after a small plane belonging to him crashed in central California on Monday, killing the pilot.

It is not known whether the 61-year-old Horner was the person flying the plane.

But looking at several messages posted on Facebook and Twitter by peeps connected to him, we are forced to believe that the great composer is dead.
Below are some of the messages;
"A great tragedy has struck my family today, and I will not be around for a while. I would like some privacy and time to heal," Patrycja posted on her Facebook page.

"We have lost an amazing person with a huge heart, and unbelievable talent. He died doing what he loved. Thank you for all your support and love and see you down the road. Love Sylvia."

Horner's lawyer couldn't confirm his death, but said he hadn't heard from the composer since the crash.

"He is an experienced pilot. He owns several planes. We have not heard from him," Jay Cooper told CNN.
